Call For Papers [1st CFP.PDF] [2nd CFP.PDF]

Wireless communications is at the centre of a new and passionate era for telecommunications characterised by the convergence of systems and technologies, a transition towards all-IP networks, and the development of technologies with a user-centred focus. In this context, the IEEE International Symposium on Wireless Communication Systems (ISWCS) positions itself as a recognised and dynamic forum for researchers and technologists to present and discuss original ideas and contributions in all fields related to mobile wireless communication systems.

In 2007, ISWCS will be held in Trondheim, Norway. The ISWCS’07 intends to bring together researchers, developers and technologists to discuss the current status and identify the future technical challenges and business opportunities arising in the path towards the realization of ambient wireless communication systems. It follows the successful ISWCS’04 in Mauritius, ISWCS’05 in Siena, and ISWCS’06 in Valencia. ISWCS’07 is sponsored by IEEE Vehicular Technology Society, and is supported by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) as well as the Simula Research Laboratory, Norway. Authors are invited to submit original papers.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

* 3G, 4G and beyond systems
* Antenna and RF subsystems
* Coding, modulation and equalization
* Convergence of wireless systems
* Cross-layer design and optimisation
* Digital audio and video on wireless networks

Paper Submission Guidelines:

Submissions must present unpublished research and not be currently under review by another journal or conference. Both extended abstracts and full papers are welcome. For extended abstracts, the length should not be longer than 2 pages, and for full papers, not more than 5 pages (in IEEE two-column format, 10pt). All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed for their quality, correctness, originality and relevance. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings and be included in IEEE Xplore.

IEEE format style LaTeX and MS-Word templates for ISWCS'07 are available here: [LaTeX Template] [MS-Word Template].

Papers must be submitted via the TrackChair System.
